The Frieza Race[3][4] is one of the seven races available to the player once they start the game.
Overview
Character Creation
The Frieza Race can change their skin color (only to shades of white) and their hair color (which changes the colored spot on their head). Their height, width, and hair style cannot be changed.
Physiology
The currently unclassified race, unanimously referred to as the Frieza Race, appear as anthropomorphic figures, like all playable races. Notable features about the race include armor shells that are superficially part of their natural body,[5] their horned heads, and a tail.
Their transformations drastically change their features and Bio Suits, including their height and width.
Traits
Frieza have very high ki damage thanks to their transformations' focus on it, and their transformations are tied with Namekians' for having the highest Ki Max multipliers, beaten out only by SSJBKKx10. However, its average melee damage and low resistances give the race a glass cannon play style - similar to Androids with melee damage.

Pros and Cons
Pros |
|
Cons |
|
Bugs
- The race's modeled tail and bio-suit cause issues when close to physical objects, causing them to clip into the ground or slide around when charging. This can also result in a completely broken speed glitch when vanishing/dodging making the player go faster then z vanish.
- The increase in size caused by many of their transformations causes issues when flying around other players close to the ground, causing sliding and clipping.
- Sometimes gain heath and Ki seemingly by random.
Trivia
- A Level 500 Frieza without Prestige would have a combined maximum stats of 2,251 points. Adding Perfect Golden Form makes it 3,651.
- Frieza Race members can equip in-game torso attire over their Final, Fifth, and Golden Forms by simply equipping the desired outfit while transformed.
- No one uses Ki damage on this race unlike what it was made for.
- Frieza Race has the most physical changes in their forms, varying from their tail, height, head, and their torso.
- The Frieza Race has no official name, though is commonly dubbed the "Frieza Race". Other media (such as Dragon Ball Fusions) refer the race to as Frieza's, Frost Demons, and/or Aliens.[4] On Namek, there are numerous "Frost Demon" NPCs which appear to be of the Frieza race.
- In the Malaysian dub of Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge, the race is called Glaeris, which is most likely a pun on the word "glacier".[4]
- Numerous fans of Dragon Ball Z refer to the race as Arcosians (sometimes misspelled as "Acrosians"). However, it's confirmed that Frieza and Arcosians are completely different races.[7]
- The Frieza Race holds the honor of being the playable race with the second-highest Ki Max, along with Namekians.
- Previously in Dragon Ball Z Final Stand, Perfect Golden Form used to be called "Perfected Golden Form".
- Differences between the Frieza Race in the anime/manga and the game include:
- It is implied by Frieza that members of his race can survive wounds regardless of how fatal.[4] However, in the game, the Frieza race lacks resistance and can be killed just as any other.
- It is implied in some media that tails of Frieza Race members can be consumed to gain more power.[4] This feature is omitted in the game.
- Unlike the game, the Frieza Race drastically varies in size and skin color.
- It is implied by Frieza that his "Final Form" is his true form, and the previous transformations were created by him to suppress his power. This is untrue in the game.
- Friezas are debated to be the weakest race due to no ability and none of their forms being exceptional
- Despite SSJ being considered equal to final form in the anime, in the game final form is equal to SSJ3 instead. Alongside friezas stronger base stat it seems to be that friezas are definitively stronger early game.
